Children are such a joy to photograph especially when they are in a comfortable setting. I love to capture them in a natural way, like playing in the park, prancing around a studio or showing off their toys in their own bedrooms. Kids enjoying performing for the camera and parents simply love the results from natural unforced studio sessions.
Being a mother of two young lively children, I fully understand that most children find it hard to sit still for long periods of time and they will give you their best when they are happy and content. Therefore I have adopted another approach. I aim to make their experiences of having their photo taken fun, relaxed and enjoyable. I achieve this by handling them with care, patiently encouraging them and enthusing them positive prompting.
