  Babies are such a joy to photograph especially when they are itty bitty and new! As a specialist newborn photographer and baby photographer I just love capturing those cute kissable: hands, feet, nose and toes. Newborns are best captured at 7-10 days old while they are still curled up in the fetal position and are heavy sleepers so we can pose them for maximum cuteness.

As baby grows each stage is worth celebrating: newborn we immortalize the tiniest features and celebrate the miracle of life; at 3 months we get tummy time and lots of grins; at 6 months we get animated giggles and independent sitting; at 9 months we get baby cruising and showing off their strength; and at 12 months we get hilarious antics of both mom and baby as they wiggle, toddle and grab everything in sight! Being a mother of three children (11, 9 and a baby) I fully understand that most children find it hard to sit still for long periods of time and they will give you their best when they are happy and content. Therefore I have adopted another approach. I aim to make their experiences of having their photo taken fun, relaxed and enjoyable. I achieve this by handling them with care, patiently encouraging them and enthusing them positive prompting, songs and of course candy treats!

The natural portrait service I offer is exactly as it says, images of your special family members in a comfortable, relaxed and fun filled setting. Natural expressions, happy smiles and pure enjoyment of life is what I like to draw out of each of my mini models.

Giving Back - Charity & Associations
Partnered with the national charity ''Now I lay me Down to Sleep'' I offer free services to families experiencing the trauma of a terminally ill child or baby, as well as infant bereavement photography.  A sensitive way of capturing these lasting images of a beloved child.  Please let me know if you know of someone interested in this complimentary service.

We also support ''Mothering Across Continents''.  The MAC vision is to be a catalyst for people, particularly women, who want to make a difference in the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. Mothering Across Continents.  has raised funds for innovative projects in South Africa such as: a pilot meals program for at-risk students in six high schools and construction of an Orphans and Vulnerable Children Play Therapy Center.  Check out our annual calendar project coming soon.
